| 1976: The home was built in the spring and
summer of 1976 and the family occupied it in August. The former
home of the family (67S#1 House) was put on the market and sold
quickly. The family had to live in a rented house for about 1 month
until the new home was completed. The contractor was Scott McKibben
and his crew. The cabinets came from Knapp Supply, the drapes from
Kendall's Drapery Showroom. The property consisted of 9.5 acres of land and woods. The house was placed on a rise just in front of the woods and to the east side of the property. The gravel drive curved from CR450S up to the house. The home is a 2-story brick and vinyl siding home with a fireplace. It had 4 bedrooms, formal living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, Family Room, Office and Radio Room. There were 2.5 baths and a 2.5 car attached garage. Later a 2.5 car detached garage was built to the west of the home.
