Notes
N1 There are 3 different Enos Hiatts listed in Hamilton County for 1850
A. Enos Hiatt - 49 yrs old - Noblesville Township - Carpenter - Too old
B. Enos E Hiatt - Child of A - Too Young
C. Enis Hiatt - in the household of Enoch Davis who is 22 yrs old - This is the one I chose - Since Enos' wife Lydia's maiden name was Davis I have to assume Enos was living with one of her brothers and learning the trade of Blacksmith -- This is indeed the case - Eooch Davis ID3346 and his wife Diana Jessop Davis ID3347 - Lydia died 29 March 1850 -- The census is dated 31 July 1850 - Therefore, Enos was a widower at this point - -- I have no indication at this point where the children of Enos and Lydia may have been living when the census was taken
N2 1. My reason for believing that Enos Hiatt ID2179 is the Corporal listed in these sources is that the stone is next to his father Solomon in Chester Friends Cemetery.

2. Military Headstone (Acc001534) - The record states the cemetery is Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield, Indiana - I searched and not headstone was found - There is a military headstone in the Chester Friends Cemetery to the left of his father Solomon.

N3 1. Military Headstone (Acc001534) - The record states the cemetery is Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield, Indiana - I searched and not headstone was found - There is a military headstone in the Chester Friends Cemetery to the left of his father Solomon.

2. 1840 Census

-- It seems likely that Enos was shown on his father Solomon's census as a 15-20 year old male - he would have been 18 at the time

-- There is another Enos Hiatt in Noblesville township, Hamilton County - 7 people - 3 males under 5 - 2 males 20-29 - 1 female under 5 - 1 female 20-29

-- This one would not fit the age of Enos

-- Enos was first married in 1843 to Lydia Davis
