He was sent home and did not see him until he came back to the regiment in December/62 or there about/ On his return to the regiment he wore glasses and his eyes were inflamed & watery, he has seen him frequently ever since and has never seen his eyes in any other condition than above named. The
reputation of his witness for veracity and credibility is desired.
