Letter:
Muncie, Ind./ May 6, 1955
Dear Helen,
Many thanks for your commencement program we received a few days ago.
We are glad you have always had such a good school to go too and have finished high school. And it would be nice if you could make something out of your schooling.
I hope you will not forget your father who has worked lots of days, where he wasn't able so you children would have the things you have needed and wanted.
Wednesday morning we were looking at television and say you interviews by Hal Simons. Could see and hear you as well as if we had been there.
It was quite a thrill for me and I know it was for you.
We want to give you a little something, but as we do not go to town very often and don't know what you need or want will send you the money.
Hope it gets there O.K. It isn't very much but maybe you can get something with it.
We both wish you all the happiness and good fortune you can get out of life.
Have a good time while you can.
Love,/ Your Grandfather and Grandmother.

Monday Morning.
We got one letter from Junior while he was in the hospital, in March, but haven't heard from him since. I answered him and Esther has written to him three times with out an answer. Hope he got better and able to go back to whatever he was doing. Expect he has found out he has gotten into something pretty serious.
Your Grand father has been pretty sick but is lots biter to day. The Dr. was here yesterday and isn't coming back unless we send for him. He still has Asthma and sinus trouble, has been having rheumatism in one leg for sometime, then last week he had a blood clot in the other leg. That is gone now and he feels better every day so we are feeling much encouraged this morning.

IN MEMORY OF: Myron F. Robbins Jr. by Helen Robbins Sanders
"As many of you know, my brother Myron Robbins passed away suddenly
last week. Since I have returned home to Florida, I have felt the
need to express my sadness and feelings in his passing. To me, he
was just my older brother, only one year older than me, but to many
others, he was a worker and helper in many organizations. To me, he
was just simply `Jr.' since he was named after our father, Myron
Robbins Sr. and no matter how old we became, he was still and always
would be Jr. He was not a saint because no one living on the earth
today is, but he was a good person. Since my husband, my youngest
son and I had moved to Florida in 1984, I had not been as close to
Jr. and others in my family, but you never lose your love for them,
they are a part of you. And when you lose one like this which is a
part of your heart, that little part of your heart is still there,
but a sadness is also there and will be forever. I have lost him and
others on this Earth, but we will see each other again someday. I am
looking forward to that day and until then, I will keep that little
piece of my heart and his memory alive and remember my brother, Jr.
as just that, my loving brother Jr.
Helen (Robbins) Sanders
New Port Richey, Florida"
