About 1970 -  Hersch bought a Dodge pickup truck and added a shell to the bed.  He purchased the Dodge paint to match the color of the truck and painted the shell.  He masked off the shell and painted it himself. [I1],

Betty J. Musick
Betty Jean (Davis) Musick, 77, of Daleville, died Wednesday evening, June 26, 2002, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born May 29, 1925, in Alexandria, the daughter of Elijah Elora and Irene King Davis, and lived in Daleville for more than 50 years. She retired from supervision at Kmart in 1985 after 20 years of employment.
She was a collector of baseballs, Barbie dolls, spoons and lighthouses. She was instrumental in the painting and decorating of the old filling station in the town square near the Daleville Town Hall.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Herschel Musick of Daleville; a son, Mark (Rebecca) Musick of Plainfield; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Davis of Anderson, Victor David of Elwood, and Marvin Davis of Alexandria; an uncle David King of Dewey, AZ; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Shirley Robbins, in 2001.
Services were Tuesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Daleville Chapel, with the Rev. Darrell Parsons officiating. Burial followed in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Center of Ball Memorial Hospital.

Burial will follow in Parkview Cemetery in Alexandria. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
