Barbara J. Mock, 64, Anderson, died Aug. 19, 1998, at her residence.
She was born in Muncie, the daughter of August and Mabel Haas, and lived most of her life in the Muncie Area.
She graduated from Muncie Central High School and attended Ball State University. She retired from Warner Gear after 25 years of employment. Following retirement, she worked at Hoosier Park in Anderson for three years.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Mock; son, Garry Rude; two stepsons, David Mock and Dennis (wife, Wanda) Mock; four sisters, Wilma (husband, John) Lucas, Norma (husband, Walter) Robbins, Olive Hanson and Marjorie Van Couwenberghe; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Meeks Mortuary Chapel, Muncie. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery North of Muncie.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today and before services Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggest if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 2831 N. Oakwood Drive, Muncie, IN 47304.
